In addition to private tours, we also organize lectures about the founding and operation of Pragulic and the issue of homelessness, which can take place independently or as part of the tour.
Schools
Programs for Schools – Educational Excursions and Talks by Pragulic Educational programs for schools based on authentic experiences. We offer excursions and talks that develop empathy, social awareness, and critical thinking. The programs are suitable as part of the Minimum Prevention Program (MPP) and for classes in civic education, personal and social education (PSE), and health education. What students will take away: - understanding of social contexts, development of empathy and critical thinking, prevention of risky behavior, and the ability to reflect on prejudices and stereotypes.

Companies

The minimum price for a private tour for a group of friends is 5000 CZK and one ticket costs 450 CZK. You can pick any time you want and the tour guide is just yours for the time of the tour.
Answers to your questions:
In the reservation form, select the date and time of the private tour and all available guides will be shown to you. Click on the selected time and the reserve button. You will see an order summary – the day, time, guide, meeting point, and more information about the guide and the selected tour. Enter the billing details. You can pay in the next step.
The standard length of all tours is 2 hours.
If you would like a longer or shorter tour, or a route tailored to your needs, write it in the note. In the case of a route or tour length adjustment, there is a 15% surcharge.
School groups* receive a 45% discount on the standard admission fee of CZK 450, so the price is CZK 245 per person. For every 12 students, one teacher/chaperone is admitted free of charge. If 100 or more pupils are booked, equivalent to 4 classes, the price will be reduced further – to CZK 200 per person. The minimum price for this private group tour is CZK 3,000 and includes 12 tickets. If the number of participants exceeds the number of tickets included in the base price, additional participants pay the reduced admission fee according to the rate stated above.
Private corporate groups and groups of friends cost CZK 450 per person. The minimum price for a private group tour is CZK 5,000.
* School groups: this mainly refers to groups of children organized through a school, class, or extracurricular youth organization, such as scouts or a children’s camp, or possibly a nonprofit organization.
You can pay online by card or by bank transfer based on an invoice that we will issue to you. Payment in cash on site is not possible.
If you have our tour voucher, it can also be used for a group tour.
You can redeem the voucher during the reservation process.
Yes, interpretation into English, German, Spanish (or another language) can be arranged for an additional fee: 2000 CZK for a two-hour tour.
Please ideally book your private tour at least one week in advance so that we have enough time to arrange everything and secure a guide, or an interpreter if needed.
The earlier you book your tour, the greater the chance that your selected guide will be available.

In that case, we can offer you another date, but notice of the change must be given on a working day no later than 48 hours before the tour takes place.
The tours can be beneficial for all age groups – from primary school pupils to secondary school and university students.
Younger children also join us, sometimes from as young as six years old – in that case we recommend, for example, Míra in Smíchov or Zuzka.
With some guides (e.g. Karel, Roman, Lada), the talk may be more open and include more sensitive topics, such as prostitution, drug use, life on the street, or queer topics. Please take this into account in advance.

What else might interest you
Your guide is a person who has spent part of their life on the street, or is still living there. Each of our guides has a different story behind them, and through our activities we try to improve their situation as much as our possibilities — and they themselves — allow. After 12 years of operation, we have found that 100% rehabilitation and a return to the life that most of us consider normal are not always realistic. We have therefore learned not to judge and to be there for them in good times and bad.
Tours take place in all weather! How else could you better step into the shoes of people living on the street? Dress according to the season and current conditions and wear comfortable shoes. If needed, pack an umbrella or raincoat in your backpack, as well as a snack and something to drink. Always be prepared to react to sudden changes, because two hours outside in wet clothes is more demanding than you might think, even in the city.
All our tours take place in Czech. If you are interested in a tour in a foreign language, it is possible to request an interpreter for an additional fee. However, such a request must be made sufficiently in advance so that we can arrange the translation. All interpreters are external collaborators who may not always be available.
Going on a tour with Pragulic is probably about as dangerous as crossing the street. We have 12 years of experience and we try to prevent risks. We do not take visitors to places that could be risky for them or where their health or property could be endangered.
Price of the private tours is discussed above and its purchase and confirmation from us are a condition of participation. Payment is always made in advance through our reservation system by card or bank transfer. Paying the guide on site is not possible.
If you enjoyed the tour, you can reward your guide with a tip. For them it is not only appreciation for their work, but also extra money that is very helpful. However, this is voluntary and it is entirely up to you how much you give the guide.
We are not here to put people experiencing homelessness on display, but to offer you a unique experience. Please behave respectfully during the tour toward the environment and the people in it. If you would like to take photos or record videos of the guides or people around them, please ask for their consent first.
You can also purchase a tour as a gift in the form of a voucher in various amounts in our e-shop. If you are the recipient yourself, you can pay for the ticket(s) with the voucher in our reservation system in step 3 – Shopping cart. If its value is not sufficient, the remaining amount can be paid additionally.
